Provision of food for all the pupils on every school day, one hot nutritious meal.
FACILITIES
The installation of electricity in the existing school building, the provision of an internet connection, and the implementation of a solar power system.
MATERIALS
Provision of lesson materials, laptops for teachers and toys for pupils.
SAFETY
Securing the school grounds with a perimeter fence with a lockable gate to prevent unauthorised access and to ensure the safety and protection of the children.
WATER
Provision of a water source and taps at key points in the buildings and the future vegetable garden.
HYGIENE
Improving hygiene and privacy at the existing sanitary facilities.
GARDEN
Creating a vegetable garden to support the basic needs for meals.
CHICKENS
Establishing a poultry farm with 500 chickens to generate a monthly income that can be used to fund teachers’ salaries.
CONSTRUCTION
Contributing to the completion of the new building with five classrooms.
